CT Managing Director, Fund for Teachers
Dr. Dale Bernardoni has been an educator in Connecticut for over forty years. She began her career as a teacher in Cheshire where she taught in a variety of elementary grades and designed and implemented the gifted and talented program. Dr. Bernardoni then transitioned into administration and was the principal of Center Intermediate School in East Hampton, the founding principal of Wintergreen K-8 Interdistrict Magnet School in Hamden and the prinicpal of McKinley PreK-5 Elementary School in Fairfield.
In addition, Dr. Bernardoni worked in higher education as an adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Education in SCSU and as a clinical supervisor in the UConn Administrator Preparation Program(UCAPP). She has been an executive coach for beginning principals and an evaluator in the CSDE Alternate Route to Certification (ARC) program. Throughout her career Dr. Bernardoni has been an active member of the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS). For the past seven years Dr. Bernardoni has served as the CT managing director of the Fund for Teachers, an organization that provides fellowships for teachers to pursue in-depth and impactful learning experiences around the globe.
